I've been round to make my Mad-But-Not-Actually-Dangerous woman smile when she was ill and when the Liar-Coward man made her so unhappy. Sgt Pepper will make you smile even on crap days.MBNAD womanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11604195971368211750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4019246280434938648.post-72879426900449236952008-11-04T13:54:00.000+00:002008-11-04T13:54:00.000+00:00We got a kitten just as my husband finished his ch...We got a kitten just as my husband finished his chemotherapy and he keeps saying that getting Pebbles is the best decision we've made all year (bearing in mind we had 1 cat and are both allergic to cats...getting another one was the most sensible decision).

My Aunt has said, and we've discoverd an old adage that 'Dogs have owners, but Cats have staff'.

Enjoy Sgt Pepper. Welcome to petland. Just make sure there's no kindly old lady living upstairs with whom you can't even try to compete for the cat's affections, and who waits until you leave the house to entice it up by speaking in a weird French accent. Ok? I speak from bitter experience. mxFreudushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12453231799993712870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4019246280434938648.post-43653009735057437282008-11-04T09:17:00.000+00:002008-11-04T09:17:00.000+00:00I adopted my two fur babies as I call them, Cedric...I adopted my two fur babies as I call them, Cedric and Jasper, just weeks before I was diagnosed. They were purrrrrrrfect - sorry couldn't resist - to have around when I was feeling at my worst following chemo and they would lie with me on the bed. I love all animals and have always had cats - they are great therapy. Some people say cats are selfish but if you love them they give you so much Lucyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09823859592428855467noreply@blogger.com
